You know what really just sucks?

Besides deployment...in general?

Waiting all day for a phone call

That's no fun

Then you get the phone call...its later at night and he has to be at another meeting in just a few minutes

You only get about 2 minutes on the phone but since I'm super nice and giving I decide to give my 2 year old a chance to say hi to his Dad

I'm just super nice like that

To bad I wasted that entire first minute trying to convince my son to say "hi" to his dad instead of watch Dora the Explorer

In Dora's defense she is pretty cool...I mean she speaks english AND spanish

After the first failed attempt and wasted minute I spent the entire second minute saying "What!?!? I can't hear you " over and over again.

I'd like to say this was due to a poor connection ...country to country doesn't always work great

But we're actually still in the same state at the moment

Nope ...this was child #2..screaming in my ear the entire time

So that just sucks.... 2 minutes of conversation with my husband the entire day and I doubt I got a one entire complete sentence said to him
